Focal has four types of cameras that can cover every square inch of a store. These cameras are wifi, battery-powered, that can cover about eight feet of linear shelf space. Focal's operations team can install these cameras in a single night. The cameras can be programmed to take images at a rate set by our client (generally once per hour). Focal handles all maintenance and upkeep of the cameras. There are a number of solutions for how to capture on-shelf conditions in a store, but shelf-cameras are the most cost-effective solutions that can provide faster and more accurate data than any other solution on the market including drones and robotics.
