Buy a printer ribbon box and see a tree planted in ‘Trees for Tomorrow’ initiative

As part of its environmental vision, TSC Auto ID has tied up a deal where, for every printer ribbon box it sells, a new tree will be planted. Working with the organisation Treecelet, its initial donations are helping fund the restoration of Kenyan mangrove forests.
The collaboration between TSC and Treecelet began last summer and, by the end of 2024, sales of ribbon boxes ensured that 5000 new mangrove trees were planted in coastal areas of Southern Kenya. This year, TSC aims to provide funding for 10,000 more trees to be planted.
For each and every purchase of one of its genuine supplies ribbon boxes, TSC pledges to plant a tree in the purchaser’s name. "We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with TSC Auto ID and deeply value their support in bringing our mission to life. Together, we are making a positive impact and driving meaningful change,” said Andraž Gavez, CEO of Treecelet, which partners both Veritree and EarthLungs Reforestation Foundation to restore forests.
TSC‘s Trees for Tomorrow initiative is an ongoing commitment that contributed initially towards the restoration of mangrove forests in Kenya through an EarthLungs project. Its aim is to help restore Kenya‘s mangrove estuary and not only stabilise and defend it against tropical storms but also create an environment that provides fishing grounds for local people. Once EarthLung’s 55,000 mangrove trees have been planted, TSC’s donations will then support Treecelet’s many other tree planting partners‘ projects. By collaborating with Treecelet, TSC is helping nature’s renewal and expanding the all-important green biomass that absorbs carbon dioxide and supports the health of Planet Earth.
The Trees for Tomorrow initiative is just one element of TSC’s ambitious ESG vision. By 2026, it also intends that 100% of its packaging will be FSC certified, recycled/recylable, that its printers components will contain 10% recycled materials and that its greenhouse gas emissions have reduced by 20-40%.
TSC is committed to promoting responsible consumption and production through green manufacturing, products and value chains, while also minimising waste. By optimising energy and resource efficiency, it is taking positive action to reduce carbon emissions and create a more circular economy.
