Pepe Jeans and Hackett London optimise operations and logistics across Europe with Order Management specialist OneStock
The two brands, owned by global fashion group AWWG, were eager to find a technology partner who could help improve business efficiency, whilst significantly reducing delivery times for their customers. OneStock’s Order Management System was selected to support them in creating exceptional customer experience as part of their wider omnichannel strategy.
Historically, Pepe Jeans and Hackett London fulfilled all European web orders from just one central warehouse located in Spain - a process which showed room for efficiencies in terms of delivery costs and lead times. After a detailed discovery phase with consideration around the existing IT landscape and integrations including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP, Retail Pro and Adyen, the new OMS was implemented.
Central to the project was ensuring the optimisation of order fulfilment, with local stores in each country using OneStock’s Ship from Store solution to reduce costs and provide quicker delivery times. At the same time, additional omnichannel solutions were also deployed such as Click & Collect, based on available stock in pick-up store and a number of new Returns options for customers.
Javier Figar, Chief Retail Officer at AWWG commented ”OneStock worked extensively with us to understand our challenges around order fulfilment and to ensure that the solution they delivered for us would be of benefit to not only our business, but our customers across Europe too. We selected OneStock’s OMS based on the team’s levels of expertise and the number of retailers and brands they work with across Europe.”
Jerome Piccolin, Sales Director at OneStock added “We’re delighted to be helping Pepe Jeans and Hackett London improve operational efficiencies, whilst also enhancing the shopping experience provided to their loyal customers. With Ship from Store rolled out to 70 stores across Europe, the two ecommerce sites can now display increased levels of stock across all stores, rather than just the stock located at the central warehouse. We’re currently working with the teams at both brands to extend Ship from Store to Germany, and to implement more omnichannel solutions including Order in Store as part of the brands’ evolving strategy.”
